elevation in this word and the hereafter

Fard Kifayah, regarded as jihaad. And sometimes fard ayn, if there is something wajib upon you and you do not have the knowledge of it, the knowledge becomes fard ayn on you to seek.

• Sincerety, for the sake of Allah alone
• The Removal of ignorance from Himself and from Others
• Advocating the Shariah – it is impossible to advocate shariah without men of knowledge. And its wajib on the student of knowledge to advocate
• Tolerance and Patience in Matters of Differences of Opinion orginate from ijtihad do not to label eachother as mubtadi’
• Action based upon knowledge action, obligatory. The Quran is proof for you or against you. Remember: intention+adhering to the Sunnah who is the two fundamental pillars for an action.
• The call to Allah

• Wisdom Invite with good manners of teaching etc.
• The student of knowledge is patient in seeking knowledge Do not cease nor become bored, seek in order to your ability
• Respecting the scholars and their Positions
• Holding steadfast to the Quraan and the Sunnah: Quran + Sunnah + statement of the scholars
• Verification and firmness: Be sure that the narrations are sound and don’t change scholar and books often,
• Taking care to understand the Quran and the SunnahUnderstanding is a big thing, you could have knowledge and not understand it properly

1. Taqwa: Allah says in Surah anfal if you fear him he will grant you furqan, which means a criterion between the right and the wrong. And it will expiate your sins and he will forgive you.
2. Perservance and consistency in seeking knowledge.

1. Referring to reliable books the ones written by known scholars, but it has some obsatcles. First that one has to give it a lot of time and tough endurance, not to become lazy. Secondly don’t only read books, it is important to have knowledge about princiles and rules from quran and Sunnah
2. Referring to a reliable teacher this is how you gain proper understanding, you ask and understand from a teacher.

1. Jealousy and envy, this is known amongst the scholars and students of knowledge.
2. To pass a religious verdict without sound knowledge.
3. Pride
4. Being partial to a particular madhab and opinion
5. Putting oneself forward before being suitably qualified
6. Evil suspicion
