It is when you mirror the speaker infront of you. To rephrase or repeat the last thing they said to keep them engaged and continued further on thier conversation. Be it your friend, partner, or even a customer.

Sometimes when we get involved in a conversation, a presentation, or a simple one on one talk, we miss some main points the speaker is trying to convey. Echoing can help us get the most out of a conversation when we need it the most. It works as a great problem solving technique because it digs deeper on each question you ask until you have the most facts on your table.

Why We Should Use Echoing More Often.
