They are for the automatic responce for servible in ancient age that were not much developed in todays fast growing world..
They were before our concious intellegents. Amygdala is concidered to be the fight-or-flight tool for emotion.
Emotion helped our very very very old(from ston age) grand parents to servibe.
Now a days it is like a burden of some short to have those old fashion instincts. They are not much use in todays world.
That doesnt mean they have no importance at all. No they help animals to servibe. Helped in living long
