At this juncture in my life, or perhaps should I call it a journey? Anxiety has become a part of my daily life. It's like a ball bouncing off of me there is no stopping, Perhaps only intervals.
But there is hope I think. As long as I am there, there is hope.

First of all I stop trying to "tame" it. Think of it like this , a mother differentiating between her own kids . What would happen? well the disaster is near.
My normal thoughts and my anxious thoughts are from the same brain. What right do I have to differentiate between them? And the more I try to name it as a bad feeling , the more it increases my tendency to shift to "good feeling" which again increases my anxiety. You see ? it's a vicious loop. Obviously we don't want that. We just want to break out of the loop . Right?

So whenever I am troubled by my anxious thoughts, I give myself a little self-talk. Trust me it works.
So , I say
"Okay I am having anxious thoughts , anxious thoughts I accept you entirely . With my body, with my heart and with my mind. I completely accept you just like any other thought" And this talk has to be loud . Only then it can have any effect !
So the next time you are starting to have any anxious thoughts . Try this
