I want to thank you Mum

For all you ever did.

Growing up you were my safe space

From you I never hid

I want to thank you Dad

For starting my love of Space

Because of you my love grew

I had a mindblowing interest to embrace.

I want to thank you both

For showing me what love really is.

Your commitment to each other

and all the love you have to give.

Having your relationship to aspire to

the love, the life you forged over time

You'd never waiver from your person

It's what I greatly admire.

So thank you Mum and thank you Dad

For giving me these gifts

I hope you both are restful

Knowing I'm blessed because of this
