“Your Light is not a Well” | A Message from Spirit About Your Light

Nothing has truly changed (or will) about our rights. But, weren’t our bodies and what we did with them always our responsibility? The sacred truth is that YES — it was, and this responsibility was never meant to feel like a burden. Instead, it is an invitation—a call to honor the divine within us, to live from a place of sacred self and reverence for our infinite worth. And isn’t this a truth we all need to hear?

There is profound power in understanding that your light is not meant to be scattered recklessly, nor offered as a resource for others to consume without care or reverence for its source. Your essence, your energy, and your divine spark are sacred gifts—not wells to be depleted by those unwilling to seek the illumination within themselves.

For empaths especially, in a world where so many are thirsty for healing, it can be tempting to pour endlessly into others, believing it is an act of love. But true love requires wisdom; it requires discernment. Just as still water becomes stagnant and toxic when it is not allowed to flow freely, so do we become toxic when we contain and dim our light through a lack of discernment and understanding of its purpose, or give it away too freely, without honoring it’s source.

We are now in, or approaching, a time when karma has come to collect its debts from those who have risked trusting themselves or the material world over God’s divine plan. Spirit calls us to embody these truths:

Honor your light : Your energy is precious. Use it to illuminate paths, not to carry burdens that are not yours to bear. You’re here to inspire, not rescue.

Set sacred boundaries : It is not selfish to say no. Boundaries are an act of self-respect, a declaration of your worth. They remind others to learn to fill their own cups.

Be a mirror, not a crutch : Your light reflects divine potential, showing others what is possible within themselves. Do not enable dependency, but empower transformation.

Trust divine timing : Some lessons are not yours to resolve for others. Their struggles equal growth.

Where these rebellious spirits falter is in the manner and tone of their rebellion. True transformation does not come from hardening the heart, but from softening into wisdom, and that is our current call. It is through this wisdom that compassion finds its greatest strength, flowing not recklessly but with balance and intention.

Your role is not to quench another’s karmic drought, draining yourself in the process, but to guide them to discover their own wellspring. Be a guide, not the source; a lighthouse, steadfast in its light, not the lifeboat that bears the weight of every storm.

Spirit affirms : Protect your light, for it is sacred. Share it wisely, for it is divine. Trust in the greater unfolding, for it is perfect.
