Our colleagues are better at rating our traits and predicting our performance than we do. When it comes to desirable traits like IQ, productivity etc... we are very bad predictors compared to our peers.
We know themselves best on traits that are tough to observe and easy to admit like our emotional stability (which is an internal state that it has become socially acceptable to discuss) like anxiety, stress etc..
