Domestic Violence is a pattern of behavior in a relationship, where one demands complete power and control over their partner. And will do whatever is necessary to keep that power.
Abuse is anything physical, sexual, emotional, economic or psychological actions or threats of an actions that influence another person.
Any behavior that: Frightens, intimidates, terrorizes, hurts, manipulates, humilates, blames, or physically wounds someone else.
“You can recognize survivors of abuse by their courage. When silence is so very inviting, they step forward and share their truth so others know they aren’t alone.” ―
