Hermoine to someone's Harry Potter

I am in the time of my life where I need to set goals for the future and figure out what it is that I want to pursue ahead and it's not just me it's the student batch of 10th grade (In India after 10th which is your board exam year you start picking from 3 options presented to you by colleges which are science, commerce and arts) getting out of school after a rollercoaster year. So the most common questions bouncing around are "Hey,What are you planning to pick as a career ?" Or Hey what percentage are tou expecting.... etc. But one thing I did notice was that the questions for where we want to be in the next 20 years seem to be different for boys and girls. For some bizzare reason girls are supposed to " have their shit" together by the age of 25 whereas boys seem to have longer than that.My primary question is WHY?Then I noticed that this might be the reason there are lesser number of female entrepreneurs because be it Elon Musk,Jeff Bezos,Barrack Obama none of them were even close to the heights they are at today. I came across this title in a tedx talk by Justin Musk where she said that she did not want to be Hermoine to someone else's Harry Potter. In her talk she went on to elaborate how woman always play a keyrole in men's success but why is that women are not on the forefront? The ones who are hustling? Why is it that woman are given a shorter time frame?Aren't your 20's supposed to be the time of your life when you try to live your wildest dreams so that you don't regret in your 90's ? I do believe that the 'society ' is to be blamed for this but I also believe that women themselves are liable to it. Yes, we all know that its probably insane trying to change the entire world's mindset but can't we just change what we think about ourselves? I know its easier said than done but can't we just try to validate ourselves on our own without any outside influence? Women are driled to believe that they might not be good at math and science.WHY? Marie Curie is one of the brightest minds in science. It is not about whether you are a boy, girl, transgender, they, them. It doesn't matter it's about what makes you you. Woman need to start defining their own lives and it's okay to not be married at 30 or not have kids at 30 or even have these and still have a thriving career. For eg Lilly Singh she is one of the richest youtubers of our time. I emplore you to find what it is that you want not what the society thinks that you should want.
