1. Take mental notes and know your plot but keep title for the last2. Describe your character through reflective actions rather than words.3. Don't clutter the text with too many adjectives. 4. Do your research on real life related topics corresponding to your story, you are unaware about.

<ul><li>If you know the gist/ outline of the plot, it becomes way more easy to write the rest of the story. </li><li>Or if you have some vague points put together and you usually write the story in a flow as it goes, keeping title for the last is better. </li><li>That's because you have an idea already, whether you want a character based, or an event based, or a theme based title etc, since you have the rest already written down. </li> </ul>

<ul><li>When writing a piece, you want the reader to have independent thoughts and weave the image you give the reader into a character or atleast let your character be figurative of an active real life person. </li><li>"Actions speak louder than words ". It's true here because you let the reader have their own perception while letting them have subtle hints on how to do so. And maybe even influence the subtle character image you put forward into becoming the reader's perception. </li><li>Plus, words can be definitive and curb the limits of a character's potential interpretive features or beautifully subtle details. I personally wouldn't want that. </li> </ul>

<ul><li>It's a no. Unless you want your story to be for a kid's book. Using wayy too many adjectives puts the character in a hierarchical image. Like in a box. You know closed traits. </li><li>Eg - a dark gloomy park on a Sunday. Vs . Dark clouds surrounded the park on the sunday morning. </li><li>Using gloomy, dark for 1 noun - park vs describing the climate with more detail. </li><li>The second one leaves more room for expression and interpretation on the reader's part and doesn't close the park to just dark and gloomy. </li><li>The above point sort of corresponds with this point but there is a thin line. </li> </ul>

<ul><li>While this is very obvious, what I mean by this is , do your research. </li><li>When writing a fiction story, you will still have things that relate to the real world and there may be things you might know about. </li><li>Eg - there's a story on say death. You need to describe the dead body ( after say a year of death ). I personally came across this one. I thought it'd have decomposed. But when I did some research I realized I could've sold rubbish to my readers. It depends on the topography and where the body's been buried. While some places help decay the body in months some might be intact after years. </li> </ul>

<ul><li>Now, this one can be specifically for young Indian students. Since, many of us are already aware of this. </li><li>Eg-the most common one I feel is, a sentence can't start with because. It can. So look up on Google and check things. All you learn isn't always right. Especially, since it's the indian education system. </li> </ul>
