It is being MINDFUL of your own inner state. It doesn't mean that you must not feel angry, it is paying attention to what you feel and let our emotions pass w/out acting on them - note that our child learn from watching us.
Anger is part of all relationships. Acting on it mindlessly, with words or actions, is what compromises our parenting. Usually, in parenting and in life, the best response to upsetting emotions is to reflect, not react. In other words, don’t take action while you’re triggered.
