"The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt!"
Many of life’s important truths are contradictory.
We normally think of contradictions as illogical and therefore useless. But if we prod a bit deeper, we find real wisdom below the surface.
For example, if we hate a certain trait in others, to the point of loathing it, we are in fact insecure and are avoiding the same trait in ourselves.
We are very quick to judge others, based on how they look and behave on the outside, but seldom do we care to know what their story might be. Every person has a story, and trying to know it before judging them and dismissing them can help us be better people.
All I want is an open heart on an open road because our growth expands exponentially just outside our comfort zone. When we are pushed past our limits, when we skip over boundaries and are confronted with the unknown, we see things differently. We think more clearly. We learn.
Life lessons don’t need a time or date to get underway
When you’re not rooted in your own worth, you go out of the way to make others happy. A lack of inner love translates into a need for constant approval and appreciation by others.
1. Failure leads to success
If you want to be successful, failure is necessary. There is nothing wrong with failure as long as you learn from it and apply it to your endeavours in the future.
2. The more you learn, the more you realized how little you know
No matter how old we get and how much we think we know, we will always have blind spots .
3. If something scares you, you should probably go for it
Fear only gets smaller the closer, sometimes that’s all we need to do.
4. The more available something is, the less we want it
Just because something is scarce does not mean it’s valuable.
