A handful of soil contains 8 to 10 billion micro-organisms. Human has come from humus. We are living soil. 

In the previous 25-30 years, 80% of insect biomass has become lost. Disappeared. There will be 30% less food in the next 20 years. 

And when this happens, people with the greatest hunger and the biggest guns will kill the healthy ones to live. The poor will kill the rich for food and the rich will die. 

Soil needs to have at least 3% organic content to be agriculturable. But In India, for example, 62% of the soil has less than 0.5% organic content in it.
