Soil is ploughed or paved to 9 or 12 inches of depth below and left open to dry (die). Land needs to be covered under tree shade so that it doesn't become dry. It needs to have those dead yellow leaves on top of it to cover it in the sunlight, not to be swept off in the gardens you play around. Land needs to be below grasses, trees, herbs, bushes to have the organic content which keeps it alive.

You can spread the awareness. You can make others conscious. Like I did to you. It is you who has to spread the message. On social media, casual talks, school lunchtime, work lunchtime, it is YOU who has to make them aware. So that they demand the soil we all need. 

You ask, how will spreading help?

Well, in democracies the only currency that runs is numbers. When the governments will see millions of people demanding the same thing, they will address it in their manifestos so that the win the elections. They will bring us policies to revitalize soil and that is exactly what we need.

From 21st of March a 100 days rally has been held by Sadhguru.
