What won't help

  • Checklists don't help if you race through them because the stupidity factors override them. 
  • Beware of rushing - if you are rushing, don't make any important decisions.
  • When you are fatigued, you may think that cognitively you're okay, but your motor control skills and reflex speed are of someone who is legally drunk.
  • Multitasking is information overload. This is why talking on Bluetooth and driving increases the odds that you can get into an accident.
