Asking the right questions

To get to the root of why a person's opinion is the way it is, one question you might want to ask is the simplest 'why?'

"Why?" is the most powerful question you can ask a person who is giving you their opinion because it allows you to determine what assumptions inform their opinions.

If we want to do things that haven’t been done or learn things that have never been learned — in short, be more creative — we must learn to ask the right questions, ones so good that they’re half-answered in the asking. And to do that, it might help to understand the process.

Nowadays, we tend to consume too much of our energy exerted upon the wrong questions. Whenever we’re feeling lost, we’re promoted to ask ourselves these rational questions:
