Correct Way of Using Antimicrobial Drugs

  • Always, and I mean ALWAYS, seek a physician and ask for a prescription if you think you have an infection.
  • Do not self-medicate with these drugs. A certain drug regimen must be followed for every microorganism.

  • Do not save them for later. Talk to your pharmacist about safely discarding leftover medicines. Also, do not hesitate to ask your pharmacist how to take antibiotics (for example, if you missed a dose).
