Exit strategy
If you want to meet as many people as possible, don't spend the entire day talking to just one person. Before you leave a conversation, you can do the following two things.
- Say goodbye. Don't lie about going to the bathroom; instead, stop asking questions and wait for the conversation to end so you can say goodbye.
- Exchange contact information. Don't forget about it. Make sure you can contact this new acquaintance a day before the event.
