Draw the line when the time comes

If you know you can’t solve it, or if the customer isn’t worth saving, you should probably move on. Ask yourself this question, Is this customer worth all the effort you are taking to save them? It is obvious that you cannot solve every cancellation reason?

Saying ‘no’ is quite difficult for most of us, especially when working as freelancers.

However, even though difficult, sometimes it is essential to say ‘no’: when you do not have time, when you do not want to do the task, etc. Therefore, using words such as ‘unfortunately,…’ or ‘no, but.....

When someone has crossed a line, you should open up the conversation alerting the other person to your feelings, concerns, or objections.
