When you make a commitment, you’re building a foundation of hope. When you keep the commitments, you’re creating trust. And, what happens if you overcommit and underdeliver? It doesn't only unproductive, but also breaks lots of bonds of trust.
Practice saying no with grace. You can put some encouraging sentences in your -no- answer, like “Let me get back to you on this."
