We long for clarity and for other people to say what they mean in as few words as possible.

Making wordy sentences that lose their fluency due to needless complexity in a text negatively affects the receiver of your message. In short: big is bad.

People won’t do what you are not doing, and they won’t do what you are doing, if you tell them to do so.

You need to do what’s right, but not have any expectations. Let your actions speak for you.

• Stay away from starting sentences with “you." 
• Hear the other person out first. Don’t apologize, but acknowledge that there is a problem. 
• Ask questions for clarity, and be sure that you understand all the facts before you proceed with a resolution.
