You are not your mind, you are not your thoughts - Deepstash

You are not your mind, you are not your thoughts

The mind chatters incessently. We unconsciously identify ourselves as our mind. If I am not my thoughts then what am I, who am I? You are the observer and the deeper presence behind your thoughts.

  • Start by listening to the voice in your head and just observe your thoughts. Notice any recurring themes. Don't judge or criticize your thoughts, just observe.
  • Eventually, you will become aware of the gap in between thoughts, known as "no-mind"
  • Learn to disidentify from your mind. Everytime you create a gap in the stream of the mind, the light of your consciousness grows stronger.
