  2. The present moment is all we will ever have
  3. Acceptance of what is

You are not your mind, you are not your thoughts

The mind chatters incessently. We unconsciously identify ourselves as our mind. If I am not my thoughts then what am I, who am I? You are the observer and the deeper presence behind your thoughts.

  • Start by listening to the voice in your head and just observe your thoughts. Notice any recurring themes. Don't judge or criticize your thoughts, just observe.
  • Eventually, you will become aware of the gap in between thoughts, known as "no-mind"
  • Learn to disidentify from your mind. Everytime you create a gap in the stream of the mind, the light of your consciousness grows stronger.

The present moment is all we will ever have, so live in the here and now

Now is all there is. The mind wants to live in the past or it wants to look to the future for fullfillment.

  • Observe how your mind reflects back to the past or to the future. As soon as you notice you are not in the present moment you become present.
  • Your primary focus should be on the now. If not now, when?

"Have you ever experienced, done, thought or felt anything outside of the now? Do you think you ever will? Is it possible for anything to happen or be outside the now? The answer is obvious, is it not?"

Acceptance of what is

Accept the now as it is. Your resistance creates the pain. This does not mean be complacent.

  • Observe how your mind judges, labels and creates resistance to what is. The first step is awareness.
  • Accept the present moment as it is and then act if needed.
  • Acknowledge resistance within you. Then ask, can you change, improve or remove yourself from the situation?
  • What can you do right now? Take responsibility for your life.

This app is LOADED with RELEVANT, HELPFUL, AND EDUCATIONAL material. It is creatively intellectual, yet minimal enough to not overstimulate and create a learning block. I am exceptionally impressed with this app!
