You've probably seen my articles floating around here on Deepstash and this article is the rawest article I've made so far since I started this account.My personal goal was to digest things that I want to learn and I just used technology to help me out and I'm just sharing the things I've learned that technology helped curating.I'm here to be a proof that machines and artificial intelligence is an ally and if used by the right hands, it helps humankind understand things faster than trying to find the information themselves.This is the only article purely written by me.

Why am I here?

By sharing ideas that actually benefits me personally was just something that came out of the blue. I was tinkering around AI and I saw its capability of helping me create the persona that I want to have and this led to push through with my plan of leaving a legacy.As a person who works in tech, I know for a fact that techn is here to stay and will surpass human capabilities tenfold given the right conditions. With digital permanence, I'm using this to leave snapshots of my life that would hopefully affect someone in a positive way even when I'm no longer around.This is how I leave a legacy.

Bored Karbatos' image in the digital realm is not planned. It was created through a series of interests that I spent time on in the past few years. This name became my internet persona especially in Web3. I also use this in games as my IGN. This way, I could separate this version of me from the real me. I want these kind of articles to only reach who needs to be reached. I just feel like this whole platform is too flooded with info that is supposed to be beneficial but for me, it lacks content like this where the writer just talks about things like an actual human being who just wants to connect.That's why this article is special to me. I usually just write down my thoughts in Google Keep and just keep them there for me to read again when the right time comes and I just realized why don't I share it to the world instead?

Why are you opening up now?

I don't care about clout. Yeah sure, I promote stuff here hoping one you guys buy and I get comission but so what? I'm here trying to make ends meet just like you. I'm just trying out new ways to make money because no one else is doing it around where I live. That's why this article is here. This is just a reminder that sure, most of my content here is about making a list of things that make sense but apart from those content, there's an actual human being behind the account. I don't care if no one reads this but if someone is, I hope that you appreciate my thoughts.

I've been practicing freewriting since I was in high school and looking back at the amount of content I've generated throughout the years made me realize the value of the information that my mind has. I write down ideas, questions, patterns, observations and even random stuff that I just thought about while staring at the ceiling and none of these where going out in the world. As I grow up, I realized that everyone else is like me. Your mind doesn't stop either it just that you don't write them down.By sharing my ideas to the world, I hope that you share yours too because you have a lot.

<a href="https://milkweed.org/author/robin-wall-kimmerer">Kimmerer </a>‘s experience growing up as a Native American in modern America was one of clashing cultures. It seemed the country and her tribe were at constant odds.  <a href="https://milkweed.org/author/robin-wall-kimmerer">Kimmerer </a>spent a lot of time with her grandmother and the Potawatomi tribe. But for the majority of time lived in upstate New York. One major difference she noticed was in the way both cultures treated nature.

Lesson 1:  Native American Culture Emphasizes Respect And Care f

She gives an example of wild strawberries that grew in a field by her school. She considers these kinds of offerings as part of the world’s gift economy, or things the world offers without expectation of something in return.  But in Potawatomi culture, it is tradition to reciprocate gifts like this. So at the end of the season, she would return to the spot and find seedlings and prepare new plots for strawberries.

The relationship should be like one between <a href="http://fourminutebooks.com/a-general-theory-of-love-summary/">two people who care about each other </a>. They take care of each other not because they have to, but because they want to . But Kimmerer saw that most people do not practice this kind of gift economy.

Native Americans understand and respect the cyclical nature of life around them. A woman will start out in the Way of The Daughter, where she will learn about the world around her from her parents. Then she enters the Way of the Mother, where she passes her knowledge on to the next generation. Finally, she will go to the Way of the Teacher, where she gives back to the community and helps parents.

Lesson 2:  We Need To Start Working In Harmony With Nature

<a href="https://milkweed.org/author/robin-wall-kimmerer">Kimmerer </a>said she put this way of thinking to use when she came across a polluted local pond where <a href="http://fourminutebooks.com/the-genius-of-birds-summary/">birds </a>would get stuck in the algae. She took care of the pond for 12 years by cleaning it and clearing it of algae.  This type of caring becomes a cycle. Now the birds are thriving, and as the pond runs down to other ponds they benefit too. This is much different than the way we tend to treat the Earth and its resources by doing things like mining with no reciprocation.

She says it’s great that people are fighting for big businesses to take responsibility, but the main goal should be sustainability. We can learn from the Potawatomi that this is done through reciprocation.

Many tribes practice the Honorable Harvest, where they take only what they need and leave nature to regenerate and it will give back to us. She says instead of just throwing paper away and not thinking about the trees that gave it to you, try considering the gifts this tree has given you and give back by participating in a local, tree planting program.

In the face of <a href="http://fourminutebooks.com/the-uninhabitable-earth-summary/">climate change </a>, it’s essential that we change our way of thinking. And because the future of the planet lies in the hands of the next generation, it’s our responsibility that they grow up with a sense of gratitude for nature.  One way the author thinks we can instill this way of thinking in the next generation is to have a pledge thanking Mother Nature.

Lesson 3:  Teaching The Next Generation About Respect Is Key

Native American schools have already done this in what they call a Thanksgiving Address where they thank Mother Earth for providing us with water, <a href="http://fourminutebooks.com/comfortably-unaware-summary/">food </a>, and shelter. This could help them start each new day with gratitude for what the Earth gives rather than just seeking to consume more. It could even help encourage them to give back and try to change the world.

My grandpa has a lot of good relationships with Native American people and although I don’t know many personally, I have a lot of respect for them based on his stories.
