Its history was particularly tumultuous because the city was destroyed around 1,500 BC for a reason that still seems to remain rather obscure: an earthquake or an Egyptian invasion? Among the oldest cities in the world still inhabited is Jericho (Palestine), where archaeologists have found traces of habitation dating back to 9,000 BC. Located in the Jordan Valley, with the Jordan River to the east and Jerusalem to the west under Israeli occupation since 1967. Archaeological excavations have revealed traces of dwellings that are even older, around 11,000 years.

Cited by research studies and historical evidence as the oldest inhabited city in the world also named as the capital of Arab culture in 2008, Damascus may have been inhabited since 8,000 to 10,000 BC, But there is no evidence that it was an important city at that time. Damascus has been the preferred target of many kings and conquerors. Damascus was an important settlement region for the Arameans, who were responsible for implementing modern water network systems. Later, the city was conquered by Alexander the Great.

2.  Damascus, Syria – 11,000 years old

Located between the Mediterranean Sea and Mesopotamia is the most populated city in Syria with nearly 4.4 million citizens in its metropolitan area. Aleppo is undoubtedly one of the oldest cities in the world, already mentioned in Paleo-Babylonian times under the name of "Halab". While the ancient site is occupied by the modern city, it is hardly touched by archaeologists. The city was under Hittite (An ancient group of Indo-Europeans who moved into Asian Minor and formed an empire at Hattusa in Anatolia (modern Turkey) around 1600 BCE.) control until around 800 BC

3. Aleppo, Syria – 8,000 years old

Susa no longer exists today, but Shush is a small town that is more or less on the site of the ancient city. We can therefore see a certain continuity. Susa dates from 8000 BC was the capital of the Elamite Empire before it was captured by the Assyrians. It was then taken by the Achaemenids Empire under Cyrus the Greek. It is the city where the play of the Persians of Aeschylus takes place, an Athenian tragedy that is the oldest play in the history of the theatre. The modern city, Shushan, has a population of around 65,000 people and is also mentioned in the biblical books of Esther.

India is the world-famous centre of ancient civilisations, religions, and spirituality, and at the same time, the cradle of the oldest cities in the world. The sacred city of India Varanasi. formerly known as Benares, has been a religious and cultural centre for at least 5000 years.

The second-largest city in Bulgaria, Plovdiv was originally a fortified Thracian city, before becoming a large Roman city. It later fell into the hands of the Byzantines and Ottomans, before integrating Bulgaria. The city is an important cultural centre and is home to many ancient remains, including an amphitheatre and a Roman aqueduct, as well as Ottoman baths. Throughout its history, it was dominated by Byzantines and Ottomans until, finally, the Bulgarians conquered it in the year 815. The name Plovdiv first appears in the 15th century. e

If your lies makes people feel good about themselves, the facts are irrelevant.

Know everything about everyone. Hide anything about you. This information asymmetry is power.In the early 2000, when faced with negative press he seized most the media company. Because the owners were corrupt. They were, but so was everyone in the chaotic anarchic period. But Putin had build a portfolio of accusations against everyone (he was a KGB agent after-all) and used his information as a weapon to go against any enemy.

Edmonia Lewis was the first professional African American sculptor, born in New York in 1843/45. Her father was a free African American and her mother a Chippewa Indian. From the beginning, she was determined to become a sculptor. With a minimum of training, exposure, and experience, Lewis began producing medallion portraits of known abolitionists. With sales of her portrait busts of abolitionist John Brown and Colonel Robert Gould Shaw, the Boston hero and white leader of the celebrated African American 54 Regiment of the Civil War, Lewis was able to finance her first trip to Europe in 1865.

She traveled to London, Paris, and Florence, and decided to settle in Rome for two years. There, she became involved with a group of American women sculptors and began to work in marble. Sculptors usually hired local workmen to carve their final pieces, but Lewis did all her own stonework out of fear that if she didn’t, her work would not be accepted as original. In addition to creating portrait heads, Lewis sculpted Biblical scenes and figural works dealing with her Native American heritage and the oppression of Black people. Unfortunately, most of Lewis’s sculptures have not survived.

Portrait busts of abolitionists and patrons (such as Anna Quincy Waterston), and subjects depicting her dual African American and Native American ancestry were Lewis's specialty. She also completed several mythological subjects or "fancy pieces," such as the figure biblical Hagar, which you can see above.

In 1968, Sen. Strom Thurmond was stopped by a police officer for jogging. Back then, jogging was only for athletes and boxers. Ordinary people didn't do it. The New York Times ran a trend piece in 1968 on the few unusual freaks who went jogging in their free time. The same year, the Chicago Tribune showed the ambitious joggers that would run for an entire mile in the morning, as police became suspicious if they ran after dark.

Recreational jogging on sidewalks and roads for exercise was unheard of in the United States up to the 1960s. Bill Bowerman, a running coach at the University of Oregon and future co-founder of Nike, said he discovered jogging on a trip to New Zealand in 1962 and was inspired by meeting with New Zealand jogging coach Arthur Lydiard, who developed a cross-country running program. When he pitched jogging in the United States, it was not just for fitness buffs, but an activity for anybody who wanted to live a healthy life.

The ancient Roman festival Lupercalia took place annually on February 15 and involved primitive forms of courtship and matchmaking. St. Valentine was also executed on February 14, around 278 A.D. Legend has it that he befriended the jailer's daughter and wrote a letter to her the night before his execution, then signed it, "From Your Valentine." Two centuries later, Pope Gelasius ordered that Lupercalia be replaced with February 14, observing St.Valentine's Day. The Romans also constructed the idea of Cupid, a god of love, which was adapted from Eros, a Greek god of passion and fertility.

What we may take as reality might as well be just shadows of the real thing.

And this time the great revolution of machine came in the long scale industries the invention by the Von Kempelen got the huge attention and now people started to fear the machine that it will took over the world like now we fear from AI. In 1819 the person known as the father of computer Charles Babbage faced the Mechanical Turk and off course he loosed his matches against him but by the loss the idea of machine thinking itself strikes in his head and after 2 years he developed his Computing Device usually known as Computer these days so many people were afraid and some were inspired.

So now you probably thinking that this is some sort of time travel mystery or you may link this story to the alien whatever but the reason behind this whole Mechanical Turk was something other than this and Edgar Allan Poe himself discovered the truth behind this machine.

Quantum teleportation is a technique for transferring quantum information from a sender at one location to a receiver some distance away. While teleportation is portrayed in science fiction as a means to transfer physical objects from one location to the next, quantum teleportation only transfers quantum information .

For the first time, a team of scientists and researchers have achieved sustained, high-fidelity ‘quantum teleportation’ — the instant transfer of ‘qubits’ (quantum bits) the basic unit of quantum information. the collaborative team, which includes NASA’s jet propulsion laboratory, successfully demonstrated sustained, long-distance teleportation of qubits of photons (quanta of light) with fidelity greater than 90%. the qubits were teleported 44 kilometers (27 miles) over a fiber-optic network using state-of-the-art single-photon detectors and off-the-shelf equipment.

NASA’s Achievement

Important point to keep in mind is quantum teleportation is the transfer of quantum states from one location to another using quantum entanglement, where the two particles in separate locations are connected by an invisible force, famously referred to as “spooky action at a distance ” by Albert Einstein. Regardless of the distance, the encoded information shared by the “entangled” pair of particles can be passed between them. An interesting note is that the sender knows neither the location of the recipient nor the quantum state that will be transferred.

By sharing these quantum qubits, the basic units of quantum computing, researchers are hoping to create networks of quantum computers that can share information at blazing-fast speeds. But keeping this information flow stable over long distances has proven extremely difficult due to changes in the environment including noise. Researchers are now hoping to scale up such a system, using both entanglement to send information and quantum memory to store it as well.

On the same front, scientists have advanced their quantum technology research with the development of a chip that could be scaled up and used to build the quantum simulator of the future using nanochip that allows them to produce enough stable photons encoded with quantum information to scale up the technology. The chip, which is said to be less than one-tenth of the thickness of a human hair, may enable the scientists to achieve ‘quantum supremacy’ – where a quantum device can solve a given computational task faster than the world’s most powerful supercomputer.

In quantum entanglement particles that have interacted at some point retain a type of connection and can be entangled with each other in pairs, in a process known as correlation .Knowing the spin state of one entangled particle – up or down – allows one to know that the spin of its mate is in the opposite direction. Quantum entanglement allows qubits that are separated by incredible distances to interact with each other instantaneously (not limited to the speed of light). No matter how great the distance between the correlated particles, they will remain entangled as long as they are isolated.

In July, the US Department of Energy unveiled a blueprint for the first <a href="https://www.bbvaopenmind.com/en/technology/digital-world/quantum-internet-explained/">quantum internet </a>, connecting several of its National Laboratories across the country. A quantum internet would be able to transmit large volumes of data across immense distances at a rate that exceeds the speed of light . It is expected that large organizations will rely on the quantum internet to safeguard data, but that individual consumers will continue to use the classical internet.

Experts predict that the financial sector will benefit from the quantum internet when it comes to securing online transactions. The healthcare sectors and the public sectors are also expected to see benefits. In addition to providing a faster, safer internet experience, quantum computing will better position organizations to solve complex problems, like supply chain management. Furthermore, it will expedite the exchange of vast amounts of data, and carrying out large-scale sensing experiments in astronomy, materials discovery and life sciences.
