Results and work are important, but also surface level fun is important as well. Sometimes it's difficult to know why achievement is important to us, so maybe at times we should just have fun. Yes, sometimes need to sit down and get the work done but what is ife if not for random little magical moments?

Example: You may fell pressured to listen to podcasts any time you are driving or cooking as if listening to music instead would just be a waste of time.You should listen to podcasts when you want to, not because you fell like you have to. Listening to music can be as productive as listening to podcasts. REST AND FUN ARE PRODUCTIVE.So, have fun. Don't always think about being productive, it will overwhelm you. Know that rest and fun are also productive .

This means that you give yourself permission to stop resisting the way that things are. For example, you can accept the fact that you're running late for a metting knowing that stressing out about it will not change anything. Or you can accept that you're a human being who makes mustakes and not punish yourself for getting distracted.

<ul><li>Ask - What are you beating yourself up about? What is your mind dwelling on?</li><li>Use journaling to re-direct your thoughts & give yourself permission to move forward. </li></ul>

3 mindset habits you NEED in your life (+ how to apply them)

What could be a quick task we complete right way becomes a point of procrastination. A tiny to do can take on a life of its own in our minds. The longer you put something off, the harder it feels to accomplish it. To avoid this phenomenon, tackle tasks as soon as they arise or shortly thereafter to avoid them building up in the first place.

Completing quick tasks

You can break down any big task or large project into quick bites that allow you to get started, sustain momentum, and complete an overwhelming task two minutes at a time. The next time you feel the pull to procrastinate, identify something you can do in just two minutes to get started. Plan big, execute small.

<ol><li> With the 2 minute rule, there's no complex workflow, 4x4 grid, or inbox to input your tasks. It's simple and straightforward: Do the quick task quickly. </li><li>Instead of adding a task to a list and finding time in the near or distant future to complete it, act in the present.</li><li>When you employ the two-minute rule to complete just one thing, it often generates a sense of accomplishment that propels you towards the next task. Action begets more action</li></ol>

The advantages of the 2 minute rule

There's a time and a place to implement the 2 minute rule. Quickly popping into our inbox to respond to an email is a distraction when we’re meant to be preparing for an upcoming presentation.Hard and complex work often requires longer stretches of time. Use this <a href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_HaFP7H0a1DbOJp14i5aJFwILakvRqIi/view">Study Matrix tool</a> to help you fight the vagueness in your mind about what to do first. In the A box write all the topics that you're unfamiliar with ( The ones you'll want to focus first).In the B box write down the topics you know but that do need revision. In the C box write the topics that you know pretty well. You can use the D box for random notes ( Tips, exams etc.)

1: Create a Study Matrix

Create a distraction page when you study. Use this to write down distractions as they come, even when you are working. Whatever is on your mind, just pluck it out, write it out and store it away. Then get back to this page on your breaks.

2: Write Down Distractions as They Come

Working for long hours without taking breaks can overwhelm you and unmotivate you. Set a timer of 25/40/60 minutes where you focus only on your work/study.
