Charisma And Influence

Charisma And Influence

Some people can be extremely influential. They can make people around them feel like they're a part of something bigger than themselves. These people are what we call, charismatic.

Charismatic people are essentially very good communicators.Aside from being verbally eloquent, charismatic people can communicate with followers on a deep, emotional level, give them a glimpse of their vision and awaken strong emotions in them.

They're people with alpha personalities who are still able to relate, connect and emphathize with you thus making you feel special or that they can make things happen for you.

Your Charisma Levels Depend On Your Circadian Rhythm

Your Charisma Levels Depend On Your Circadian Rhythm

Whether you think this sounds like you or not, look at the clock and think again.

Research recently published in Leadership Quarterly states that, people tend to be much less charismatic when they're at a relatively low point in their circadian rhythms, and much more charismatic when they're at a relatively high point. The Circadian rhythm is your biological clock or the process that regulates your sleep-wake cycle.

In other words, morning people are more charismatic early in the morning and night owls more charismatic later in the day.

It's also easier to inspire morning people in the morning, and night owls at night.

In the study morning people perceived a speaker to be more charismatic when they viewed a videotaped presentation in the morning; morning people who viewed the same video later in the day found that person to be less charismatic. The same was true for night owls; they found the same speaker to be more charismatic when they viewed the presenration at night than when they did in the morning.

When Is The Best Time To Motivate Your People

When you want to inspire and motivate people 1) first consider your circadian rhythm and the time of day you feel most energetic and enthusiastic. 2)Then think about the people you want to motivate.
