If you have come to this page to search for some guidance to clear the PSM I exam, then I'm certain that you've developed some interest in learning and implementing agile values and principles in your project/organization. 

The preparation for PSM I is easy and simple. You should have some clarity as to how and what to prepare for it. The preparation time ranges between Two to Three weeks depending on your experience and background. However, person without any exposure to Agile and experience can also take this certification.


&nbsp;•&nbsp;Read the scrum guide as many times as possible. I read it 4 times and glanced over once before the exam. The scrum guide can be downloaded from here - <a href="https://lnkd.in/gVmWKn-w?trk=public_post_share-update_update-text" data-tracking-control-name="public_post_share-update_update-text" data-tracking-will-navigate="" rel="nofollow" dir="ltr">https://lnkd.in/gVmWKn-w</a>.
Read it online or print it as per your convenience. It is a 14 page document. Every single statement contains valuable information. 

&nbsp;•&nbsp;Print and read the Scum glossary. This document is important as well, as it ensures familiarise with all the terms that you encounter.

&nbsp;•&nbsp;Take up Open Assessments from <a href="http://scrum.org/?trk=public_post_share-update_update-text" data-tracking-control-name="public_post_share-update_update-text" data-tracking-will-navigate="" rel="nofollow" dir="ltr">Scrum.org</a>. Ensure to go on and on until you score 100% consistently in both Scrum Master and Product Owner open assessments. You can save your results in case you want to go over them before exams.
Note: You can try to complete Scrum master within 10-11 minutes and PO open in about 6 minutes. This helps you to manage time efficiently to revisit the flagged questions in the final test.

&nbsp;•&nbsp;Another great resource for free mock tests for PSM is Mikhail Lapshin quiz. Here you can attempt test in both learning and real mode. 

&nbsp;•&nbsp;After having studied and scoring consistent 100s, if you still think you need more preparation, choose practice tests from Udemy. 

&nbsp;•&nbsp;Schedule your final test and attempt it when you are fresh and on your own without any disturbance. ( I took my test at night, around 11:30 PM so that my One year old sleeps while I take my test. Unfortunately, the baby woke up and I lost my 10 minutes of exam time) So plan accordingly.
