Instagram is full of people in love with their image of reading.
Reading for learning is not all coffee shops and cosy couches. Most of the time is pen and paper and rereading concepts that are difficult to grasp.
You read because you want to know more, do more, grow more.
You have a purpose.
You're looking for things that could give you an edge, that you could later use in your purpose.

An insight is an atomic self-contained re-usable unit of knowledge.
It has emotional value. A gut feeling that you've stumbled over something really valuable.

Atomic: Is the idea the smallest it can be? If you resonated to multiple items maybe you could capture them separately.
Self-contained: The nugget should be valuable on its own. You should get most of the value by looking at it. This means short summarised notes work better than lengthy never-ending paragraphs.
Re-usable: The insight needs to allow for methods of interaction. It should be classified in a manner that you recognise, it should point back to the source etc.

This app is LOADED with RELEVANT, HELPFUL, AND EDUCATIONAL material. It is creatively intellectual, yet minimal enough to not overstimulate and create a learning block. I am exceptionally impressed with this app!

I have only been using it for a few days now, but I have found answers to questions I had never consciously formulated, or to problems I face everyday at work or at home. I wish I had found this earlier, highly recommended!
