why should you forgive?

Everybody experiences life for the first time - so it is natural to make mistakes and hurt someone. Even if it was on purpose you should forgive. This sounds a little confusing but it's actually simple.

Forgive to be at peace. Don't let a past mistake bother you and move on. It isn't your business anymore. The person probably struggles on their own, don't add to that.

why should you forgive?

You made a mistake and hurt someone, eventually even yourself. Maybe on purpose or maybe accidentally. But things like this happen all the time and it's part of life.

Accept it, learn from it and change. It happened and it's okay. Holding on to the feeling of guilt makes you miserable and doesn't help anybody. Instead apologies and keep going.
