Real Life Becomes Unfulfilling

As we continue to scroll, we get in this never-ending loop of constant dopamine.

Whenever we do get back to our normal life, it seems boring or unfulfilling because we get way less dopamine than what our phones give us.

Money Machines

The original idea for phones was for communication, but nowadays they're being used for a lot more. Apps are being created to make us use them for hours and get us addicted.

Comparison

Comparison

Online we see the "perfect" lives of other people, even just the ones around us. People can control what others see and what they don't.

Even without the existence of phones people compared themselves to what they saw of other people.

We have to stop comparing ourselves to people we don't know. We can't know everything that someone has gone through, even if they seem so perfect.

So What Do We Do?

So What Do We Do?

I'm not going to tell you to go on your phone less, that has to be your own decision.

Don't beat yourself up if you continue going on your phone. It's okay to have those moments when you feel like you aren't in control.

What we can do though, is appreciating the smaller things in our life, taking walks, meditating or creating something.

I feel like realising what makes you unhappy — in this case the lack of dopamine — is already a great step ahead and can make you feel better about your daily life.

This app is LOADED with RELEVANT, HELPFUL, AND EDUCATIONAL material. It is creatively intellectual, yet minimal enough to not overstimulate and create a learning block. I am exceptionally impressed with this app!
