...poem demystified

...poem demystified

I composed the poem.

In just 4 pairs of line, I summarized everything I wanted to say about $CORE, apart from the consensus mechanism.

The first 2 lines :

"for the record, he is prince

royalty runs in his blood"

'Was just trying to explain that :

  1. $CORE is the prince of crypto
  • He was born from ETHEREUM and BITCOIN.
  • These two are the royal cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin setting the pace, Ethereum following afterwards.
  • They are also the two most popular Blockchains. Bitcoin being 1st, and Ethereum 2nd.

...And Birthed.

...And Birthed.

The 2nd and 3rd lines :

"over a heated argument,

he was conceived"

Perhaps, I should have added, ... conceived and birthed forth. Well, legend has it that CoreDao was birthed from an argument that erupted between a Bitcoin enthusiast and an Ethereum Maxi.

"by cooperation, he was born,

his birth still shakes the world"

I believe, it was a very productive argument that will leave an indelible footprint in the sands of time. These men of honor argued like ideal humans —their argument yielded fruits.

... captivating ?

4th line :

"he usurped the place of his sister.

a supplanter? maybe not"

Well, this time interpret as what you will like to interpret it as. However, the sister here refers to sui or solana. And of course, I can't call $CORE the palace supplanter because, $TON already took that.

My poem is captivating right 😂?

CoreDao

CoreDao

CoreDao is a turing-complete EVM-compatible layer 1 Blockchain, built to leverage extensively the advantages of Bitcoin, the pioneer cryptocurrency Blockchain, and Ethereum, the pioneer smart contract Blockchain.

In the context of computers, turing-complete is the term used to explain the ability of machine to perform various computations allowing for versatility.

In the context of Blockchains, a Blockchain is turing-complete if it's native programming language allows for :

  • any computation asides transferring value,
  • developing and solving complex ideas, and
  • building sophisticated software apps.

EVM-compat...

EVM-compatibility refers to the fact that onboarding will be very easy for Ethereum devs who code with Solidity.

Their base code will not require painstaking modifications.

$COR

$COR

$CORE is the utility token that powers the CoreDao Blockchain.

It has these basic uses, as a utility token

1. It is used to incentivise validators, relayers, verifiers and BTC miners in the Blockchain.

2. Holders of core can stake their tokens by delegation and participate indirectly in securing the Blockchain hence, earning block rewards too.

3. Holders of $CORE will be able to participate in on chain votes thereby deciding on important updates to the Blockchain.

4. It is the token used for the settlement of gas fees in CoreDao.

CoreDao's Consensus.

Whenever a cryptocurrency Blockchain is discussed, the consensus mechanism is usually the Climax.

Discussing a Blockchain without it's consensus is synonymous to cooking without salt.

It is called Satoshi Plus Consensus.

It's a hybrid of Delegated Proof of Stake, Delegated Proof of Work and Non-custodial BTC staking.

PoS, borrowed from Ethereum Blockchain.

However, modified to be Delegated, so even normal user's like you and I can Delegate our $CORE to validate and earn a percentage of the block reward s an incentive.

...Solving Not Worrying.

...Solving Not Worrying.

With this, CoreDao solves the issue of passive income which most Blockchains weren't able to solve.

Proof of Work, borrowed from the Bitcoin Blockchain, however it is delegated.

So Delegated PoW, where BTC miners Delegate part of their computational power or hash power to help secure CoreDao.

Doing this, CoreDao inherits the security of the most secure crypto Blockchain in the space.

In return, BTC miners earn additional incentive in $CORE coupled with their $BTC...

WORTHY OF NOTE, is the fact that this helps CoreDao tackle the problem of security.

Non-custodial BTC staking, this is simple.

Here, BTC holders stake their BTC token to further secure the network and thus, receive $CORE tokens for this.

It is important to note that, not only has CoreDao opened up new opportunities for adoption in the space, but also, it has invented a new use case for the Bitcoin token.

Key Players

Key Players

It may interest you to take note of the following key players.

Core Stakers

  • holders of $CORE, who Delegate their tokens to validators.

BTC miners

  • nodes who contribute computer power to secure Bitcoin Blockchain. If they also want to COREDAO to benefit from their hash power, the only need to :
  1. write a code stating the validators address that they're delegatimg their BTC hash power to.
  2. in the same code, state the Core address they want their $CORE token to be taken to.

BTC Stakers

  • Stakers of BTC in CoreDao. They needn't use a third party, that is why it is called Non-custodial.

Validators→ ←Relayers→ ←Verifiers

Validators→ ←Relayers→ ←Verifiers

They make use of Absolute Time Locks.

So once their token is locked up (Delegatedly staked) they earn incentives until otherwise.

They also need to include a script stating:

  1. the address of the Core validator the Stakers wants to Delegate his BTC to.
  2. the address they want their $CORE token to be in.

Validators, the main players in the Blockchain. They validate transactions in CoreDao.

Verifiers, they ensure that malicious actors are identified and reported.

Relayers, ensure that cross-chain data is reported toe CoreDao.

Summary

Summary

DPow, exclusively for security

DPos, extensively overcomes centralization, and enhances scaling.

NcBs, ensures further security and decentralisation.

CoreDao opines that it overcame the Blockchain trilemma.

It did, with it's novel consensus.

However, the question remains: "Will it stand the test of time?"

Actually, I have high hopes for this DAO.

They took on a different approach and it is gonna yield fruit.

I believe CoreDao will achieve more feat in the crypto space.

I'm entirely bullish on $CORE.
