Blockchain Vulnerabilities

Blockchain as a concept is not going away. The current blockchains however can be attacked:

  • China can use its firewall and separate miners. The blockchain assumes nodes can be reached. However an authoritarian large state can affect it.
  • The US is incapable of tech attacks so it will probably try a regulation attack. Which will probably backfire as smart people will avoid incorporating in the US and accelerate crypto cap tables.

We vote in 3 ways:

  • At the ballot, when we pick our politicians. Low consequences and friction.
  • With our wallets. Every time we buy something we make a decision.
  • With our feet. Choosing where we live is a high investment decision.

The US was founded with all of these in mind. Voting with our feet can lead to competition between States or cities.
