1 of 4C‘s- Competence

To get yourself and others self motivated. You need to Feel the competence, the empowerment.

Whenyou want someone to feel competence- even yourself- ask them these 3 questions:-

  1. Can you do it?- This is for ability. If yes, then ask,
  2. Will it work?- For more motivation. If yes, then ask,
  3. Is it worth it?- The final motivating question.

1 of the 4 C's- Choice

Choice is what keeps you going. Choice si what gives you motivation. Choice is what helps you move on. If you're asked to be in 1 case: either be forced to learn drumrolling or given the chioce of drumrolling; I am pretty sure you wold choose the 2nd. Cause when you have choice, you feel freedom. Everyone wants freedom.

When you wanna be or make someone else motivated, give them choice.

1 of the 4 C's- Consequence

We all are driven by consequences. Some know it as PPP; pain, pleasure principle. You feel pain you avoid it; you get pleasure, you run to it. So when you wanna do drumrolling and someone informs you, if you are good at drumrolling, you'll get a chance to lead the school parade. You'll feel self-motivated.

And so, it's important to present good consequences to motivate yourself or others.

1 of the 4 C's- Community

Community is not to be so underestimated as you you think it soud be. It plays a very major role in feeling motivated, in feeling empowered, in feeling inspired. We all have to learn to be interdepent to be self-motivated. I'll leave a beautiful poem next to ths idea, it would be good if you watch it with the expressions of the person in the video. It shows you how much self-centred we all are.

We all should learn how to not be self-centred. And have a feeling of the community love.

Poem- The cookie chief

A woman was waiting at an airport one night, with several long hours before her flight. She hunted for a book in the airport shops, bought a bag of cookies and found a place to drop.

She was engrossed in her book but happened to see, that the man sitting beside her, as bold as could be. . .grabbed a cookie or two from the bag in between, which she tried to ignore to avoid a scene.

So she munched the cookies and watched the clock, as the gutsy cookie thief diminished her stock. She was getting more irritated as the minutes ticked by, thinking, “If I wasn’t so nice, I would blacken his eye.”

The cookie thief continued

With each cookie she took, he took one too, when only one was left, she wondered what he would do. With a smile on his face, and a nervous laugh, he took the last cookie and broke it in half.

He offered her half, as he ate the other, she snatched it from him and thought… oooh, brother. This guy has some nerve and he’s also rude, why he didn’t even show any gratitude!

She had never known when she had been so galled, and sighed with relief when her flight was called. She gathered her belongings and headed to the gate, refusing to look back at the thieving ingrate.

The cookie thief continued continued

She boarded the plane, and sank in her seat, then she sought her book, which was almost complete. As she reached in her baggage, she gasped with surprise, there was her bag of cookies, in front of her eyes.

If mine are here, she moaned in despair, the others were his, and he tried to share. Too late to apologize, she realized with grief, that she was the rude one, the ingrate, the thief.
