8.1.0 - Adding your own ideas has never been easier

Fundamentally every idea has a source: we read a book an article, listen to a podcast or watch a video and we discover wonderful new ideas. 

Sometimes the ideas we already have in our head, swirl around, combine and click just right, giving birth to a new idea for which the source is us and our thoughts.

You can now add those original ideas to Deepstash with you being the source and without having to specify a link or book.

We can't wait to see all the wonderful ideas you have!

We all have topics that interest us, be it #science or #productivity or #harrypotter. Following a topic will help us find those ideas that are most relevant to us.

Now, when you publish ideas you can tell the other stashers what these new ideas are about. It will help anyone interested in the same thing as you discover them.

And, of course, whenever you look at an article, you'll see which topics relate to it.

Since the ideas in Deepstash are added by stashers like you and me, we realised it would be great to see who are the most passionate stashers about a certain topic. So we can follow them. The folks in the image here are the top 3 stashers for #coding 🎩. They are the top stashers since their ideas about #coding have the most reads. 

Pick any topic and tap on it and you'll see the topic heroes.

Each topic also has a list of other topics related to it, making it easier to discover ideas interesting to us.

On both Android and iOS there are now Deepsash widgets. 

You can add either a widget showing you the quote of the day or the daily ideas right on your home screen.

And if your streak is important to you - there is a widget for that, telling you how many ideas you've read today and what is your streak.

I know some of you have been waiting for these for some time and we're very excited to be able to release widgets. You can add Deepstash widgets the same way you add any other widget, you just need to be on this version.
