A Half-Body Bath

The Japanese take a half-body bath for about 30 minutes, immersing the lower half of their bodies in warm(100 to 106 degrees Fahrenheit) water. This is a much more relaxing bath than the 3-minute shower most of us are used to.

The added benefits are:

  • Speeding up the body’s metabolism.
  • Improving skin.
  • Reversing bloatedness.

It is a great way to detox the body, provided the excessive sweating is taken care of by drinking lots of fluids.
