Getting things off your mind by writing them down may help you relax. When you feel stressed, take a few minutes to write down some short notes about how you’re feeling or how your day is going. You might do this in a notebook or in a notes app on your smartphone. Don’t worry about being poetic or spelling everything correctly. Just focus on expressing yourself to help release some of your stress.

Never worry in your head

When you feel stressed or anxious, never worry in your head.

If you must worry, write out how you think and feel rather than just letting it loop over in your head. Putting it on paper forces you to slow your thoughts down.

Write a journal

Not everybody find journaling easy. The trick is to limit the time you write and find out the best way that works for you. 

You can write for 5 minutes a day in a journal or in you phone's notes section, it's up to you.
