A lady thought that pushing the button 4 times, then going out and coming in to the room was causing it, some made the producers laugh. But there was this one man who just stood there and didn't push the button at all, in fact, he resisted it. This thought of thinking that your actions are not affecting the money was called 'extinction' by Skinner. When he was asked about it in the interview, he said that he had thought that what would others not do. so he decided to do a different thing- do nothing.
