Putting highly successful people on a pedestal can unknowingly hinder our own efforts. We get caught in comparisons and it’s easy to forget that they’ve had and still have their own set of struggles and challenges on their path.

Try changing the way you talk to yourself when you’re trying to build up the motivation to do something. Positive self-talk and self-support will help.
Most systems take some time to set up, but once you start using it, the time you use in “maintenance” is made up for by the time you save not having to think about what to do – or making up for the things you didn’t remember to do.
Eliminate as much as unnecessary distractions as possible. While working, put the phone on aeroplane mode or if feasible, keep the phone in another room. James Clear, the author of Atomic Habits calls this as priming the environment as to boost productivity.
