Passion runs hot and burns out, while people with purpose — think of it as passion combined with reason — are more dedicated and have control over their direction. 

To excel in any skill you need to push yourself out of your comfort zone. This is known as deliberate practice. 

Try taking time out of your day to practice the things that do not come naturally to you, and you will see how quickly you grow. 

Most companies hire too quickly.

And if you do that, make sure that everybody has at least a six-month trial, for you to test them out and for them to test you out. This way, you can know them in real time, when you're doing actual work.
