It's worth asking yourself these questions: What are my short, medium and long term goals? - Can they be implemented? Are we doable? To understand whether they are doable or not: - What is my income? (1/6/12 months) - What is my expense? (1/6/12 months) - What property do I own? - Guess what might happen in the coming months/years? - What atypical/one-time expenses might occur? - Are there situations in which your income will increase or decrease? Develop a plan to achieve the goal.

To save effectively, you need to have a goal. For example, open your own coffee shop for $8,000 in 4 years. So you need to save $5 a day, $150 a month to achieve it. To start saving: • Define a goal • Determine the amount • Start saving small amounts • Don't spend everything • Open a separate bank account for savingsSavings must be reasonable. For example, a gym membership for 8 visits costs $50 per month. A single visit is $10. It can be seen that it is better to buy a subscription, as you save $30 per month.To instill yourself in savings, start small. Habit = Profit.

Savings is the difference between income and expenses.

Investments - cash, securities, other property, including property or other rights having a monetary value, invested in objects of business or other activities in order to make a profit or achieve another beneficial effect. Compound Interest Curve: FV = PV × (1+r)^n, FV - future amount. PV - invested amount. r - compound interest rate, annual. n - the term of the financial transaction.

So finds a <a href="https://www.realestatewitch.com/2022-millennial-home-buyer-report/">new survey </a>by the real-estate education platform Clever Real Estate that polled 1,000 people about their homebuying plans. Of the respondents who already owned a home, 82% had at least one significant regret about their home purchase.

One in four millennials said their home value decreased while the same amount said their mortgage was expensive. Since buyers often had to shell out more than the asking price to outdo competition, many now realize they overpaid. The survey found that one in six millennials would offer at least $100,000 above asking price for their dream home. Almost half of millennials anticipate maxing out their budgets to buy a home, with one-third planning to spend more than the median US home price of $405,000 at the time of the survey in November.

Italian immigration to the United States – mimesis for a shared object of desire and community was a tremendously positive thing. The same is happening with the move to digital finance (communities forming like DAO’s, Discord channels, etc.)A lot of people are fulfilling their need for community and religion in bitcoin and crypto.

How to do RESEARCH on a Cryptocurrency Coin or Token (DYOR)

Bitcoin is going to, in a constructive way, infect everybody’s minds

The consumer price index (CPI) is a poor inflation metric. The goods in it are picked so that it cannot indicate any inflation and thus permit money printing to go unchecked. Inflation is the rate of price appreciation in a basket of goods, services or assets that you want to acquire in the future. For example, if you want to live with your parents in the basement of their house, you don’t need a house or beachfront property and don’t intend to pay for electricity or utilities. For you, inflation will be the cost of beer, Netflix, youtube. The things you have to pay for is inflation to you.

Defining inflation

Three scenarios for CEOs:<ol><li>In a deflationary currency environment, the prices of goods and services will decline, and the currency will appreciate. If I keep the money and wait, the value of my money will accrete. </li><li>If monetary expansion equals economic growth, e.g., banks print 2% more currency, and the economy grows 2%, then treasury will remain stable.</li><li>In a stagnant economy, the currency can rise to 5% a year. But if the economy grows less, the prices appreciate for anything scarce like an original Picasso, but will not appreciate for mass-produced goods/services, such as copies of a Picasso.</li></ol>

Preserving the value of treasury over time

Technology companies take products and services and turn them into information networks. As a result, whatever they touch becomes deflationary while they become billion-dollar companies in the process. For example, Google dematerialised every library and every piece for every book, information, video, and music. Everything that Google, Apple, Facebook or Amazon touched became deflationary. The variable cost of sending a Netflix movie to a million people is the cost of electricity.

Technology turns products into energy

When you compare Bitcoin to other assets, Bitcoin is a scarce piece of property.  Bitcoin is liquid, global, fungible, there’s no property tax on it, no state taxing. It’s hard to produce Bitcoins.

Bitcoin as a scarce asset

Monetary expansion was 24% in 2020, with a forecast of 10% to 15% for the next five years. Under 15% annual money supply expansion, if a company makes a 5% margin on its business, it will lose 10% of its value every year. That means in four years, half of its wealth will be destroyed.If you want to preserve your wealth, you have to beat the hurdle rate (the minimum rate of return on investment) and risk premium.

Economic calculation

The main store of value buckets are fiat instruments, such as bonds, stocks and commercial real estate. For bonds: Investors will have to beat the hurdle rate or drop interest rates.For commercial real estate: Rent has to keep up with the hurdle rate.

When we raise the hurdle rate, individuals have to work harder or take more risks. They have to compete against big tech companies that have money and power, resulting in many small businesses getting crushed. To preserve value, companies will either have to leverage up to buy back stock or perform acquisitions. But integrating two companies has a 90% failure rate. Worse is that companies borrow money to buy another company. That is a road to ruin.

The road to ruin

Cash is a liability, not an asset. Therefore, every fiat instrument based on cash should be discounted at 15% per year, such as stocks, bonds, and real estate. While Bitcoin is volatile short-term, it is always worth more over five years. If you generate cash flows in fiat currency that are growing slower than the hurdle rate, you can fix the problem by putting your cash into Bitcoin. Conservative bitcoin growth is estimated at 20% per year; consequently, the yearly income will surpass the company value.

Bitcoin as a solution

Bitcoin is a growing asset. It’s also the world’s first engineered monetary network that is growing faster than 100%. Corporations can add their balance sheets or PnL into this monetary network. Square and PayPal compete against both big tech companies and banks. They offer their customers a savings account in Bitcoin that accretes 100% per year tax-free. (Compare that with a bond that offers a 10% taxable return.) To keep up with competition, Apple or Goole will have to offer Bitcoin as that is what people want.

Big tech adopting Bitcoin

To stay competitive, the mutual fund business needs to build bitcoin into their product offering. Similarly, traditional banks have to build bitcoin into their business, such as trading, banking, lending, yield, custody, etc. People will know that public companies can buy bitcoin and then realise they can use debt to buy it. While retirement and investment funds can’t buy bitcoin directly, they can buy publicly traded stocks and look for companies with bitcoin exposure.

Chanakya, also known as Vishnugupta or Kautilya was known as a strategic, diplomat, politician, economist and a sharp thinker. His ideas of waelth and management is immortal.

Chanakya's Arthshaastra, written 2400 years ago, composed of 6000 sutras Or aphorisms, was based on economic policy, political governance and military strategy. It talked about wealth identification, wealth creation, wealth management and wealth distribution.

The method of aanvikshiki is the science and art of thinking. In Sanskrit, anu means atom or the smallest particle and ikshiki means one who wants to know. Chanakya explained aanvikshiki in Arthshaastra as constituents of Sankhya (concept of Shiva and Shakti and relating to numbers or mathematical thinking), Yoga (ability to keep our mind steady and firm under stress), Lokayata (worldview of people, who believes in data and the reality). It is mandatory to have a mentor for teaching you the methods and the way towards your goal. Your mentor should be himself expert in your field, here the finance and management, should be rich enough, genuine background, integrity towards moral values. Chanakya says it is better to have upto third opinion from 3 different experts but not more than them, non-expert opinions should be avoided. Age and maturity are not synonymous. Maturity comes from knowledge and deep thinking.

Once a businessman met Chanakya when he was working under a lamp. After finishing his work, he turned off that lamp and lit another one to discuss with the businessman. When asked why he didn't use the same lamp, Chanakya said that the first lamp was given to him for his official work only and the second one was his personal. He never mixed up his official belonging to personal benefits. He taught us that self regulation is more important than being regulated by the government, you can cheat the world, but you can not cheat yourself.

Teaching By Example

Chanakya emphasized on filling the treasury before serving the country. The food for the labourers and the armies for their work should not be exhausted. He made sure the corrupt officials get punished and the genuine and devoted workers get rewards and promotions. Chanakya made regulations for textile industries to give economic freedom and financial empowerment to women. He personally interrogated any problems women in these days faced and took appropy actions against atrocities. "Empower a woman and you can be sure her family will be empowered too."

Wealth should free us from worldly challenges. Instead, most of the time, wealth and money get us more and more entangled in them.
