Derived from the Latin word ‘nihil’ meaning ‘nothing,’ Nihilism was quite possibly the most pessimistic school of philosophy. It was a widespread style of thinking throughout 19th century Europe. Nihilism questioned all forms of authority, including government, religion, truth, values, and knowledge, arguing that life is essentially meaningless and nothing really matters. But it wasn’t all doom and gloom – some found the idea of rejecting prescribed doctrines a liberating prospect.

What is Nihilism?

One of the fundamental aspects of Nihilism was its rejection of all forms of authority. Nihilists questioned what gave one figure the authority to preside over another, and asked why there should be such a hierarchy in place at all. They argued no one should be more important than anyone else, because we are all as meaningless as each other. This belief has led to one of the more dangerous strands of Nihilism, prompting people to wage acts of violence and destruction against the police or local governments.

1. Nihilism Questioned Figures of Authority

In the wake of the Enlightenment, and its subsequent discoveries of ration and reasoning, German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche argued that Christianity no longer made sense. He argued that a totalizing system that explained all truths about the world was a fundamentally flawed system, because the world is so complex, nuanced, and unpredictable.

2. Nihilism Questioned Religion

Nihilism argued that nothing had any meaning, and there was no higher purpose or calling in life. It’s a pretty depressing attitude, defined by pessimism and skepticism. And at times this attitude has led to wanton acts of violence and extremism.Nietzsche believed we should accept the fear and uncertainty of the unknown, in order to pass through it and find a new higher calling.

3. Nihilists Believed Nothing Matters

Towards the 20th century, the doom and gloom attitude of Nihilism softened. It eventually evolved into the less anarchic style of Existentialism. While Existentialists shared some of the skepticism about power systems and religion as their predecessors, they also believed the individual had the power to find their own purpose in life. From Existentialism, Absurdism emerged. The Absurdists argued that the world might well be chaotic, turbulent and absurd, but we could still celebrate it, or perhaps even laugh, but only in a wry, cynical way.

What Are the 12 Laws of Karma?

When most people talk about karma, they’re likely referring to the great law of cause and effect, Patel says. According to this law, whatever thoughts or energy you put out, you get back — good or bad. In order to get what you want, you have to embody and be worthy of those things. It’s the concept of what you reap, you sow.“For example, if you want love in your life, be loving to yourself,” she says.

According to Paul Harrison, creator of The Daily Meditation, the law of humility is based on the principle that you must be humble enough to accept that your current reality is the result of your past actions. For example, if you’re blaming your colleagues for your poor performance at work, Harrison says you must accept that you created this reality by not performing as well as you could have.

To experience peace of mind, you have to embrace the present. This can only happen when you let go of negative thoughts or behaviors from your past. If you get too focused on past events, you’ll keep reliving them. One exercise Patel recommends to get in touch with the here and now is to get rooted into your senses. “Look around the room you are in, focus your eyes on something, blink, and say ‘I am here,’” she says.

According to this principle, history will continue to repeat itself until you learn from the experience and take steps to do something differently to stop the cycle. Change gives you a new path so that you can create a new future and a better version of yourself, free from the patterns of the past.

Kansa was the heinous king of Mathura. He had a beastful army of Asuras. Due to which he had a win over every fight with devas and humans.Once Vasudev & Kansa's sister Devaki had their marriage, after which there was a Dev Vani ( Fortune Call From Sky) which stated that "Devaki's eighth child will be the terminator of Kansa and all his sinful deeds".

Atrocious King Kansa & Dev Vani

Kansa hearing this in rage captured the married couple and Ugrasena (Kansa's Father) was thrown into jail. After some months the first child was born, but was immediately choked by Kansa and so the others were simultaneously.When the 7th child was in stack, Lord Vishnu ordered Yogmaya to let Adi Sheha (Snake of Lord Vishnu) be born as Balram to the second wife of Vasudev - Rohini who was out of the prison.

Devaki's Heart-Piercing Sacrifices 

When time appeared for the 8th child, Lord Vishnu himself was born as a Lord Krisna through Devaki, meanwhile Yashoda in Vrundavan had given birth to a girl (Yogamaya). The prison magically was free out of locks and guards which allowed Vasudev to exchange Lord Krishna with Yashoda's child.After this activity the girl was killed but there appeared the Yogmaya Devi (Goddess) enraged & stating that his terminator's birth had already took place, fearing Kansa a bit.

Born with chubby chicks, pearly eyes and peacock quill on head, he was always surrounded by his beloved ones due to his magical tune of flute which drove everybody.

Kansa simultaneously send his army of Asuras in purpose to massacre Lord Krishna, but failed everytime. The list includes putana, trinavarta, bakasur, aghasur, dhenukasur and pralambhsur.He grew to become a handsome and heart-winning individual. To fulfill his purpose he killed his Uncle King Kansa and set free everybody from prison.Narakasura was killed by Lord Krishna who had captured 16000 womans, thus today celebrated as Naraka Chaturdashi. The society won't accept them easily so Lord Krishna accepted them as wives.

The Kansa was killed, Vasudev belong to the Yadavas race, Ugrasena was given the throne of Mathura. Most of the Yadavas moved to the new inbuilt city of Dwarka. Here, the Pandavas rose to power, where Arjuna and Lord Krishna met.

After the mass killing of sons of Gandhari, Lord Krishna visited her at the end of Mahabharata, but in fist of rage and mourn she cursed him that after exactly 36 yrs later his Dwarka would be drown under the ocean, Yadavas race would come to an end and Lord Krishna would get killed. The day finally came in, the sky cried with mourn, the curse came to be true, Dwarka City was drowned by the Arabian Sea, Lord Krishna was mistakenly struck by a poisonous arrow by a hunter named Zara and finally Lord Krishna made his way to the sky in Vaikunthadham.

The Three Lessons For Self Improvement

Report cards and sports victories are badges of honour more for parents than children. Rather than investing time in making sure kids are well-rounded, parents push kids to learn skills that will look good on a resume, whether they enjoy them or not.

The full ‘truth’ of the specimen cannot be seen all at once, but can be approached only in the aggregate of various planes of focus. So it is for the self. Parshuram kindly asked to bring back his 4 brothers and mother with all their memory erased about whatever had happened. Jamadagini felt cherished with his pure intentions, granting him the boon.

Being the Grandson of Prahlad, he went on to become the biggest devotee of Lord Vishnu. He had a huge affinity towards power of expansion which led him to rule the entire Prithvi Lok (Earth). People of Swarg Lok and Patal Lok began to fear over the Demon King's reign. Lord Indra in fear requested Lord Vishnu to look into it.

King Bali 

As King Bali was follower of him, Lord Vishnu went in a simple peace way, he took the form of a tiny, cute and flourished little Brahman Dwarf named Vamana. The aesthetic appearance made the people delusioned within the bond. Then Dwarf met the King Bali, as being a Brahman the King ask to fulfill any of his wish.

Birth Of The Brahman Dwarf

Vamana stated that he needed a only 3 steps of land of his foot. The King urged to ask more. Vamana answered, " I have asked what was necessary and pleasurable to me. Wanting for more would never eliminate my thirst."

Wish

If am not satisfied with the 3 steps of land, I will not be satisfied even with the whole universe. If I acquire 1, with legitimate power I will have to place two shunya (zeros) and make it 100 to fulfill my pleasure. But, those two shunya's represent greed and selfishness.

Theory Of Vamana

Scratching the words over the brain, Shukracharya ( Master of Asuras) realized that the dwarf is actually Lord Vishnu. As soon as the master realized it, he began to hoax the King to not fulfill any of his wish, but he had made his promise with Vamana.

Vamana Avatar - Fifth Avatar Of Vishnu | Dashavatar Despite being an Asura, King Bali was a pious man and was a devotee of Vishnu like his grandfather Prahalad. One day the Brahmana Vamana reached the court of King Bali requesting for charity or alms. It was a custom in the court of Bali that no Brahman would leave his place empty handed. So the King was more than willing to offer the Brahmana anything he desired. Upon questioning his needs, Vamana said that he wanted land measuring up to three steps of his tiny feet. But Bali urged the Brahman that he was capable of giving him more and insisted that he asked enough that he would never have to anything ever again. Bali asked Vamana to measure his three-foot sized land and it would be given to him. Then Vishnu in the form of Vamana began growing his size. He grew and grew until he filled the whole universe. He then lifted his foot to measure three steps. In one step he measured the whole Earth under his feet. In his second step he covered the SwargaLok. Vamana in his gigantic form asked his Bali that he had convered the Earth and Heaven in two stride. Now there was nothing left in the universe that could satisfy his demand of the third foot of land. But since Bali had promised him three-foot of land, it was his duty to fulfill his promise. Bali was defeated. But in all his humility he requested Vishnu to come back to his original form of Vamana, so he could fulfill his promise. Vishnu accepted his request and retured his gentle form of a dwarf.
