The key sentence is..."if I'd reached out"​This category involves the efforts we didn't made. Like if I'd gave the effort to let the friendship as it is, if we didn't fight, if we spent some more time...in any kind of relationship the efforts we didn't make or the initiative we didn't take.

Connection Regrets

We should learn from our regrets and should correct them in order to live freely from a particular type of regret. I do also have these regrets in me. I'm learning and I have learnt how to rectify them, accept them, and learn from them, and how to correct them.

Hii!! In this stash I'm going to give you few ideas to earn respect from others. If you feel or thing that you don't have much respect at your workplace or school (or any other place), then I will suggest you to read the following ideas.

How to Earn RESPECT?

Try to talk calmly. Even when you are angry. This will force the other side to respond respectfully. This is same as you are talking with a 3-4 year boy. Please them with your world famous singer voice and wait for magic to happen.

Talk peacefully

The more you give respect to others,  the more will other respects you back. It can be difficult at once. But as soon it becomes a habit, you will be most respected among others. This is a basic law of nature. Feel it by thinking about it sitting alone.

Give respect = Receive respect

It is important to understand even the things which can't talk or shout on us, wants respect also. The laptop or mobile on which you are reading this, deserves a huge respect from you. Is charging device is not enough? No. It is like action-reaction interaction. If you respect your mobile, I bet it will never leave you in your worst times. How do I respect non-livings? It is simple. Just thank them after you use them. If you are shy, do it in your mind. The subconscious world will do the rest.

Just don't be rude in the whole process. I agree that path will be difficult, but don't lose your temper. Else you will ruin all your hard work. Pythagoras quoted "A fool is known by his speech and a wise man by silence"

Have you ever looked at the solar panels on roofs and wondered exactly what they do, and how? Well, those hi-tech expanses of shimmering glass are actually just one component in a complex network that harnesses the sun’s renewable energy to deliver electricity to the home within.

HOW SOLAR ENERGY WORKS (STEP BY STEP) ?

Each individual panel is constructed of a layer of silicon cells, a metal frame, a glass casing surrounded by a special film, and wiring. For maximum effect, the panels are grouped together into “arrays” (an ordered series) and placed on rooftops or in large outdoor spaces. The solar cells, which are also referred to as photovoltaic cells, absorb sunlight during daylight hours.

STEP 1:  SUNLIGHT ACTIVATES THE PANELS.

Within each solar cell is a thin semiconductor wafer made from two layers of silicon. One layer is positively charged, and the other negatively charged, forming an electric field. When light energy from the sun strikes a photovoltaic solar cell, it energizes the cell and causes electrons to ‘come loose’ from atoms within the semiconductor wafer. Those loose electrons are set into motion by the electric field surrounding the wafer, and this motion creates an electrical current.

STEP 2:  THE CELLS PRODUCE ELECTRICAL CURRENT.

You now have solar panels working efficiently to transform sunlight into electricity, but the electricity generated is called direct current (or DC) electricity, which is not the type of electricity that powers most homes, which is alternating current (or AC) electricity. Fortunately, DC electricity can easily be changed into AC electricity by a gadget called an inverter. In modern solar systems, these inverters can be configured as one inverter for the entire system or as individual microinverters attached behind the panels.

STEP 3: THE ELECTRICAL ENERGY IS CONVERTED.

Once the solar energy has been converted from DC to AC electricity, it runs through your electrical panel and is distributed within the home to power your appliances. It works exactly the same way as the electrical power generated through the grid by your electric utility company, so nothing within the home needs to change. Since you still remain connected to your traditional power company, you can automatically draw additional electricity to supplement any solar shortages from the grid.

STEP 4:  THE CONVERTED ELECTRICITY POWERS YOUR HOME.

On cloudy days and overnight, your solar shingles or panels may not be able to capture enough sunlight to use for energy; conversely, in the middle of the day when nobody is home, they may collect surplus energy—more than you need to operate your home. That’s why a meter is used to measure the electricity flowing in both directions—to and from your home.Your utility company will often provide credits for any surplus power you send back to the grid. This is known as net metering.

STEP 5:  A NET METER MEASURES USAGE.

Now that you know the basics about solar energy, you can marvel at how today’s photovoltaic technology can capture the vast power of the sun to operate a home. It may not be rocket science—but it definitely is human ingenuity at its best.

Dentist William Morton performed the first successful public test of a general anaesthetic in 1846. He first experimented on a hen, his dog, his goldfish, and himself before going to the Massachusetts General Hospital surgical theatre. His concoction of sulfuric ether and oil from an orange (just for the fragrance) knocked a young man unconscious while a surgeon cut a tumour from his neck. Today’s anaesthetic includes ether-based inhalants such as sevoflurane and isoflurane, and intravenous anaesthetic propofol.

General anaesthesia redefined surgery

General anaesthesia redefined surgery and medicine, but over a century later it still carries significant risks. <ul><li>Too much sedation can lead to neurocognitive disorders and may even shorten lifespan;</li><li>Too little can lead to traumatic and painful wakefulness during surgery.</li></ul> Generally speaking, anaesthetic drugs render people unconscious by changing how parts of the brain communicate. But scientists still don’t fully understand why.

Risks with general anaesthesia

<ul><li> 17 to 43 percent of patients may have cognitive problems such as memory and executive functions that typically last for up to two weeks. However, delirium in adults over 65 can last for several months.</li><li>Some studies have shown that the risk of long-term cognitive damage and post-op delirium is highest for those who already have underlying cognitive vulnerabilities, such as Alzheimer’s or mild cognitive impairment.</li><li>A small percentage of patients have reported traumas from recalling some experience of their medical procedure during general anaesthesia.</li></ul>

Negative effects of anaesthetic

In 2011, renowned anesthesiologist Emery Brown began using EEG to track patients’ brain waves.EEG records the electrochemical activity between communicating neurons in the brain.  During general anaesthesia, you can see, based on the patterns on the EEG monitor, how unconscious someone is, and you can dose your drugs accordingly. But testing whether EEG monitoring helps patients go under and recover better has produced mixed results.

Understanding how patients wake from anaesthesia and under what circumstances they struggle could also help scientists with how to treat disorders of consciousness, including coma.  Researchers can use general anaesthesia to control the transition into and out of unconsciousness.
