No one will read your articles if your headline is not good enough

Online readers need prompt satisfaction and quick solutions. Great headlines focus on the reader's benefit. When you write a new story, ask what specific benefit it has for the reader? For example,  "The Feynman Technique Can Help You Remember Everything You Read."

Write clearly for the benefit of your readers

If you’d like to attract a broad audience, consider what other people might find interesting about your chosen topic.  The title should be specific yet appeal to a large audience. For example, "If You Want to Be Rich, Spend Your Time Buying Assets." When you write your headline, ask:<ul><li>Why should many readers care?</li><li>Who is this relevant for?</li><li>Is my topic broad enough?</li></ul>

Find an angle that attracts a broad audience

People only share stuff on the internet that makes them look smart or helpful.  Think about which angle is share-worthy for your readers in your article. To make your readers look smart or helpful, create headlines where you solve a specific problem for them. If they find the solution useful, they'll share it.  For example, "The 7 Emails You Should Send Every Week to Get Ahead in Your Career."

People only share specific articles

Old headlines lack novelty. What was popular last year won't go viral this year. Instead, people want to read stories with a spiky point. A spiky point of view is someone's unique and slightly controversial perspective that brings fresh ideas to the conversation. To discover a spiky point of view, ask:<ul><li>What is something I strongly believe but others might disagree with?</li><li>What do most people like but I can’t stand?</li><li>What is something that I stand by but isn’t (yet) accepted by society?</li><li>Most people think X, but it's really Y.</li><li>How I got a good result without conventional advice.</li></ul>

Don’t copy past headlines

Readers who notice a well-known name in a title are more likely to click because those people already have expertise in their fields. If you have a particular experience that can be useful for others, you can add self-proof to your heading. Build on other people's credibility

If you can make others feel curiosity, anger, or joy when they read your headings, they'll click. However, be aware that half of your readers will dislike it if you share something controversial and might leave angry comments. At one time, the coca-cola corporation was forced to change its recipe as cocaine was made illegal. That's when coca-cola took the cocaine out of the coke. But they just replaced the cocaine with a concentrated dose of sugar combined with a concentrated dose of caffeine, which doubled the chances to get hooked.

When it comes to processed food and sugar, we're all living in an obstacle course. Habit-forming foods are on every corner in your grocery store. Besides the rising obesity worldwide, what is more concerning is the appearance of adult diseases in children. <ul><li>Type-2 diabetes is linked to heavy sugar consumption, especially in sugary drinks.</li><li>There is also the appearance of whole new diseases that seem to come out of nowhere, such as the diagnosis of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease that didn't even exist until 1980.</li></ul>

The story of the Titanic - the luxury liner that was advertised as unsinkable but sunk after hitting an iceberg - is well known. Approximately 1,500 people lost their lives.  Even after a century, the Titanic story is still developing. A major missing piece is that the Titanic was on fire for days as it was sailing, and the crew could not put it out.

It wasn’t just an iceberg that led to the infamous tragedy

Generally, coal fire is challenging to deal with and is near impossible to put out. On a ship in tight quarters, it’s even more difficult. The area in the coal bunker where the fire broke out was next to the main bulkhead of the ship. According to the coal stokers and firefighters aboard the Titanic, the fire damaged one of the bulkheads. Unfortunately, nothing was done to address the damage.

Coal fires can’t just be “put out”

Despite warnings of icebergs in the area, the Titanic ran full speed when crossing the Atlantic Ocean. The excessive speed could have been caused by the firefighting onboard.To fight the fire, the stokers had been shovelling the burning coal into furnaces for three days to burn the fire away, causing the ship to speed up.

When the Titanic struck an iceberg, it tore into its hull. But the bulkhead compartments appeared to be holding the water back. The Titanic’s designer aboard the ship seemed to think the ship wouldn’t sink as long as the bulkheads held up - except that one of the main bulkheads had been damaged in the fire. After two hours, lead firefighter/stoker Fred Barrett reported seeing “green foam come tearing between the boilers.” Then, the bulkhead failed, and water came pouring in, sinking the ship.

According to journalist Senan Molony, who have been studying the Titanic for over 30 years, the ship left port with a fire on board because the White Star Line (operator of the Titanic) was in financial trouble. As a result, the Titanic needed to sail on schedule, or the company may have folded.&nbsp;&nbsp;Others disagree with Molony’s conclusions. The previous secretary of the British Titanic Society, David Hill, admits to the fire but thinks the iceberg was the ultimate reason.
