We've rethought parts of how we create ideas to make it even easier and quicker. We've also added to your profile the reactions ideas receive, and there are a few other surprises.
- Add ideas quickly: we've decluttered the idea creation screen, streamlined picking a source, and automatically suggest topics that describe your posts.
- See what reactions someone received: on any other stashers' profiles - see what reactions the ideas they've authored received.
- Mention others in comments: see a post another stasher would like? @mention them directly in a comment.

Add ideas quickly
Contributing ideas is now smoother, just press the plus in the navigation and you will be treated to a simple idea card just waiting for your thoughts.
Picking a source is easier and we've streamlined how you add ideas that come directly from you.
When you are done writing ideas, in the last step, Deepstash suggests what are the most relevant topics that describe your ideas (if your source is a link).
All in all, from start to finish, adding ideas is quicker and cleaner. We look forward to reading the ideas you contribute to!
P.S. We've also improved the idea editor in the Deepstash web app 😉

Reactions received
Go to the profile of any stasher that has published ideas and you will see, at a glance, what reactions their published ideas have received.
Why should you care? Reactions are a great way to gauge how a stasher's ideas have impacted their readers. Combine that with the topics the ideas are about and you'll get a quick and clear picture of what tickets this particular persons' fancy.

@mention people in comments
When you find ideas that you know your fellow stashers would love you can let them know about it through a simple @theirusername mention directly in the comments.
This mention will send them a notification.
@mentions are also a great way to respond to a fellow stasher that has left a comment to which you want to respond. Give it a try and engage with the rest of the community!

There is more the team has been working on in the last few weeks: performance improvements to loading profiles and stashes, improvements to the experience new people have when they create their Deepstash account, the daily notifications are smarter, and if you add a book you will see a little explanation about how to import your Kindle notes. We are constantly working on making Deepstash better, although not everything is visible.
