It's easy to find a job that lets you work from home. More and more office jobs are allowing remote work, so you can look for one and become a worker who is not tied to one location.

But many of us embrace the opportunity to work on our own terms, giving us control over our time. Therefore, our goal is to become an unstoppable, location-independent entrepreneur.

Creator path: Create free content on internet, build an audience over time, and begin generating revenue through sponsors, products, and courses.

• Problem: Long-term process, tough competition, returns come much later

• Benefit of media: Make products with one-time effort and make money while you sleep

Entrepreneur path: Build a business or startup, and form a team of individuals with skills to make your idea come to life.

• Problem: Hard being a startup founder, issues of fundraising and making it profitable.

• Benefit of code: Put in the effort to create a product, allow customers to sign up.

Have a skill you can do remotely, and find people to pay you for that skill.

• Problem: Trading time for money.

• Benefits: Gain profits more quickly than Creator and Entrepreneur path.

To live a flexible life on your terms, Freelance Path > Entrepreneur Path & Creator Path

• Identify the skills you already have or build a skill that people are willing to pay for. Offer value to those people through these skills. Money is an exchange of value.
• You can find clients in two ways: reach out to creators who can benefit from your skills, or by targeting businesses who need help with social media presence or other services.
• Make yourself visible and present yourself professionally. Have a decent presence on social platforms depending on your niche. Create a personal website to sell goods and services worldwide and accept payments. All you need is a single-paying client.

Remember, it takes time and effort to build a skill and find people to market it to. Becoming an expert in something and then building your own business is a long-term process.

Don't quit your day job, until you know you can fund yourself through your side hustle.

Manage your time and energy wisely; use evenings and weekends to figure out how to land your first client.

Don't be discouraged if things don't go as planned. Failure is part of the journey.

With dedication and new strategies, you can make money and have control over your time.
