After reading atomic habits, mini habits and a bunch of other books, I believe that this is the ultimate hack to overcome procrastination and build habits that would last.
A habit when done makes rest of your day productive. It acts as a trigger for the rest of your habits. It can be anything like waking up early or going to the gym or reading etc.
Dates or events which creates distinction between past and future behaviours. Eg. birthday, marriage or 1st January.
This can be utilised within a 24-hour cycle to promote behavioural consistency and efficiency.
5:30 am - WAKE UP
8:00 am - REBOOT
5:00 pm - WORK FINISH
6:00 pm - DINNER
8:30 pm - BED
9:00 pm - SLEEP
The timings can vary accordingly. Try to stick to 6 or less temporal landmarks for efficiency.
