How to write selections for blogs, companies and social media

Selections that make people share your content can widen your audience. After they visit your blog or site, you can encourage them to follow you or sign up for your email list.

The number of items in the collection is the reason for saving or sharing. The person simply can't read or watch it all at once.

This content is informative and easy to use. Sometimes you should consider rewriting your ordinary long read to a selection.

• Use emotions: fear and greed
• Use trend or event (new year, mass emigration, new laws)
• Make the ad noticeable
• Don't forget the call to action
• Add more items to the collection (under 100)

Information collections may not be viral, but they can make the reader's experience last longer. 

• Don't make too many points - just 3-5, or make another section.
• Use proper descriptions for each item. If you just publish a lot of URLs, people won't understand why they need to read all of it. 
• Include citations or screenshots, prices, and other details.
• Incorporate the author's opinion, such as "this is my favorite" or "I've done this 100+ times".
