When you feel like procrastinating on something (which happens to everyone), just start doing part of it, and leave it incomplete.
For example, if I'm procrastinating on an essay, I can just write the title on the document/piece of paper. Then, I'll leave the document open on my computer/paper on my desk.

Starting a task and leaving it incomplete will increase the chances of you wanting to complete the task later on.
Just like how cliffhangers or incomplete books and movies stick better in our minds, incomplete tasks are more likely to be remembered by us.
Thus, your brain will more likely remember this task and urge you to complete it.
