What we should do is ask,

  • Who is here that I can help today?
  • Who needs what I do?
  • Who will pay money to have this problem solved?

If you don't have trust, you might be tempted to race for attention. It's like spamming people to get their attention. Social media thrives on people who try to race for attention because that's how they make a living. Instead, ask,  "who exactly am I here for?"
